Годишните награди на „Буларт” за 2010 година

Всяка година по традиция от създаването си през 1996г галерия "Буларт изразява своята съпричастност към творчеството на даден художник, поверявайки му знакът на галерията. Малката сребърна значка е едновременно и бижу и лого, символизира доверието и уважението към творческите търсения на артиста, към неговия професионализъм и артистично поведение. За знак на Буларт е използван глаголическият символ на Твореца, който представлява триъгълник с кръг на върху му, композирани в квадрат, като символизират единството (триъгълника), хармонията (кръга) и устойчивостта (квадрата), краткотрайността на материята и силата и вечността на духа. Отличителният знак е преходен . Носителят на отличието от предишната година го предава на настоящия носител, който следващата година ще има задължението да предаде „щафетата” на следващия творец. Този акт на съпричастност има нематериално изражение, а е предимно духовен и емоционален акт на признание и съпричастност.
Знакът на „Буларт” за 2010 ще принадлежи на Самуил Стоянов заради социално ангажираните му проекти и ироничния характер на неговите послания, на италианската авторка Алесандра Арно заради деликатните артистични провокации срещу намесата на технологиите в човешкия живот. Наградата за млад автор получава Ангел Карагьозов.



- Самуил Стоянов е роден през 1975г. в Добрич. През 2001г. завършва специалност „Керамика” в НХА, София. Той е мултидисциплинарен автор,който изпалзва пърформанса,инсталацията, видеото,обекта и живописта за да изрази в дълбока ирония своите социално ангажирани артистични послания. Реализирал е осем самостоятелни изложби в България, Австрия и САЩ, носител е на множество награди за съвременно изкуство , между които награда за съвременно изкуство БАЗА, която му осигури шестседмичен творчески престой в ISCP - Ню Йорк. Варненската публика познава творчеството му от участията му в уикенда за съвременно изкуство contempo, изложбите в галерия „Буларт”, Биеналето на визуалните изкуства „Август в изкуството” и др. Алесандра Арно е представител на младото поколение видео творци в Италия, живее и работи в Милано. Завършила е Художествената академия в Брера,Милано. Нейното творческо внимание е фокусирано върху визуалните и технологични "пропуски", на отклоненията, които нарушават възприятието ни за реалността, обича повторното определяне границите на тези възприятие. Участва в многожество авторитетни международни форуми за видеоарт, фестивали, конкурси и кураторски проекти в Италия и чужбина. Реализирала е самостоятелни изложби в Италия и България. В момента работи като програмен директор на VisualcontainerTV webTV и директор на [. BOX] видеоарт проект/Милано/ ,съвместно с куратора Джорджо Фидели. Пред варненската публика тя представи проекта си фотография и видео "overlook",част от съпътстващата програма на "Август в изкуството". / http://www.alessandraarno.com /



Aнгел Карагьозов е роден през 1978 във Варна. Получил е художественото си образование в Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst, Vienna /1997 – 2003/ и е специализирал в Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts, Париж /2004 – 2005/. Участва в множество изложби и кураторски проекти в Германия, Италия, Австрия, Франция и България. Реализирал е 6 самостоятелни изложби в Австрия, Франция и България. Варненската публика бе свидетел на артистичните му провокации през 2010 - в уикенда за съвременно изкуство contempo, проекта memo.real,изложбите в "Буларт". Ангел е член на Berufsverband Bildender Künstler Австрия и от 2006 отново живее и работи във Варна.

* наградите ще бъдат връчени на нарочно парти в мюзик кафе LOOK през януари.

Галерия Буларт започна своите 15 години с история от над 360 изложби, самостоятелни и кураторски проекти на български и чуждестранни водещи автори, представяния в България и чужбина. През 2010 акцентът бе поставен към младите автори и подкрепата на техните първи стъпки, както и методичната образователна линия с множеството изложби, представящи тенденциите в съвременното изкуство, сащо така бяха реаализирани успешни международни проекти. Антония Колева – Нитра, Иван Костолов, Ангел Карагьозов, Симеон Стоилов, Петър Минчев, Калоян Илиев- Кокимото, Петър Костадинов, Агоп Гемджиян ,Кирил Чолаков,Борис Колев, италианците Алесандра Арно, Паоло Вивиан, Джузепе Канистраро, Лучано Олзер, Марко Филипоци ,Джордия Брунели, Мона Яс от Германия. Парньорските взаимоотношения с галерия ЕС,базирана в Мерано и Визуален контейнер, базиран в Милано, доведоха до реализацията на проекти в България и Италия – изложбите на Алесандра Арно, Кирил Чолаков и Мона Яс. Сътрудничеството с Берлинерпул пък даде възможност на варненската публика да се срещне с творчеството на Нуно Виченте /Франция/, Мариша Бенджамим /Португалия/ и Виене Чан /Китай/ в проекта memo.real, съпътстващ „Август в изкуство”, също тогава бе представен немския видео артист Уилфрид Агрикола ди Кьолн /Германия/. Последният успешен проект на „Буларт” бе в Будапеща на панаира на модерното и съвременно изкуство , където галерията бе специално поканена в кураторския проект на Саймън Хюит ,наречен „Ъгълът на героите” /Нeroes Corner/ и представи италианския художник Паоло Вивиан. По проект на фондация „Рая Георгиева” и със подкрепата на Община – Варна по програмата за подкрепяне на творчески проекти излезе от печат каталога на Рая Георгиева.

Bulart's gallery club annual awards 2010

Bulart gallery annual award is a little silver badge/ insignia - both as jewel and as a logo symbolizes the confidence and respect for the creativity and artistic searches, respect to professionalism. For that sign was used the Glagolitic symbol of the Creator, which is a triangle with a circle on the top. The sing is composed into a square and symbolizes also the unity (triangle), harmony (circles) and stability (square); short-of matter and the strength and eternity of the spirit. The insignia is transitional. The winner of the previous year will give the award to the new winner and next year he has a duty to forward it to the next winner. The award is an act of empathy and it is intangible terms, it is primarily a spiritual and emotional act of recognition.



- Samuil Stoyanov /1975, Dobrich/.He graduated National Fine Art Academy, Sofia /2001/. He is multidisciplinary artist,works in field of installation, painting, performance, object etcc. His creative interests have socio-political aspects with strong ironic nature. He realized many solo-exhibitions in Bulgaria, Austria and USA. He is a winner of numerous awards for contemporary art, including the award for contemporary art BASA, which provide him with six weeks creative stay in ISCP - New York. Varna audience knows his works from his participation in the weekend for contemporary art - contempo, the exhibitions in the Bulart gallery, Biennale of Visual Arts " August in Art " etcc. - Alessandra Arno works and lives in Milan, Italy. She graduated in Brera Art Academy in Milan and she makes the most of the expressive features of photography and video. Her attention is focused over visual and technological "gaps", the aberrations of which are distorting our perception of the real, and likes re-defining such boundaries. She has taken participation in many important videoart exhibitions, festivals,contests and curatorial projects in Italy ans abroud. She realized solo exhibitions in Roma /2002/, Brescia, Ken Damy Contemporary Photo Museum /2002/, Bulart gallery /Varna, BG, 2010/. - Angel Karagiozov /1978, Varna/ has finished his art education in Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst, Vienna /1997 – 2003/ and he had specialization in Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts, Paris – Cergy /2004 – 2005/. He has taken participation in several exhibitions and curatoral projects in Germany, Italy, Austria, France and Bulgaria. He has 4 solo exhibitions in Austria,France and Bulgaria.His last project "2012" was presented in con.tempo - weekend for contemporary art in Varna,2009. Angel Karagiozov is a member of Berufsverband Bildender Künstler Österreichs and International Association of Art. Since 2006 he lives and works in Varna.



Bulart gallery is based in Varna, Bulgaria. Since 1996 it presents modern and contemporary art by local and international artists. It presents limitless by tools and language conceptual exhibitions by artistic groups, curatorial projects and individual artistic researches with subject focused in urban culture, collective memory, question of identity, mass media manipulation, globalization and social frames, communications, new aesthetic of present time and social behavior. Bulart gallery has a program “Youth art” and it searches new art trends in young generation. Bulart has taken participation in international art projects, festivals and fairs- local and in abroad /Kunstart, ArtVilnius, Budapest art fair, “August in art”, Product etcc/. Bulart has the annual grant for art studentss. about "overlook" project alessandra arno' writes:

"Everything arises from a paradox.Derrick De Kerkhove during a Seminar in Bordeaux in 2006 stated that the geographic expansion of our thought goes well beyond our national boundaries: this would happen in an unconscious way, even though he urges that we should have to go over the notions of consciousness and unconsciousness. According to this, we’re living in a world where we constantly face globalization and cannot escape a global dimension of being anymore.
There we thus assist to a “modelling” of affection, to a collective synchronization that make us simultaneously go through the science progress and its failures, within a sort of joint consciousness. The web, the social networks and GoogleEarth have overexposed the individual in the last decades, providing us with the chance of being always visible and present, ready to receive messages and communicate, further to offering a watchful eye on what once were the insurmountable limits of human perception. That’s why we’re talking about media omnipresence, virtual ubiquity and synchronization towards global information.
Science progress is getting to “science fiction”, with no attention to ethical and scientific limitations or to side effects induced by an accelerated progress.
This preamble being, we could be prone to think that technology and science are undergoing a time of “Enlightenment” clearness, that researchers and scholars are progressing under the guidance of true knowledge and farsightedness.
In fact, according to Paul Virilio what we’re undergoing is a real getting back to researching the invisible, to bearing out what cannot be verified, to a Faith into what cannot be either seen or touched. Virilio thinks that scientists are nowadays involved with the investigation of the dark matter and its relevant hidden energy (the particle of God and antimatter – Cern, Genevre), thus accepting all that is not perceived and not expected rather than what is visible and clear.
Such is the paradox, then: in so a highly computerized, globalized and technological society, energies are being spent towards the intangible realm, and science thus becomes a science fiction narration in which everything is revisited and recreated, as if previous findings could bear no value in comparison with all the new ones that could possibly change or even shake the socio-cultural and environmental balances.
A clear will to manipulate the very nature of things under this intention is apparent, in order to re-create an “other” history and an “other” planet through programmes and applications.
My project originates here: from a sort of collective sensitiveness, that can eventually approach a clear resolution only within the intangibility of Faith or the unconsciousness necessary to re-map the historical and geographical properties of the whole planet.
Revisiting the collective tragedies and faithfully watching over the unknown world presented by the science fiction.
The video artworks Stars (2004) and Earth (2010) are a part of this project I’ve been working on for many years, related to the technological gaps affecting the human unconsciousness.
Stars seem to be dealing with a starry sky, that in fact is a starry sky colliding into the viewer, or ever a never ending rain of missiles. The usual poetry of the falling star and relevant message of good omen is distorted into a message of total war and mass destruction. The sky has become a dangerous and deadly place.
Earth presents a post-atomic scenery instead, in which technology is spying on science and no longer able to control its catastrophic side effects; in which media overexposion is a way of controlling and scheduling all individuals; in which nature has partially survived but lost energy; in which everything is standing still.
There we assist to the image of a dying planet, and mankind is upside-down looking at this disquieting prospect bound to the unknown, to the darkness, and cannot help but being fascinated by this new tech Faith.
Cosmic Strip
This the new story, the new Holy scripture, presenting astronauts and satellites as the new spiritual guides and the cathedrals of such a new Faith devoted to the unknown and incomprehensible."

Проектът memo.real представлява изследване и динамична компресия в диалогов режим на съвременния градски живот и архитипите на новата колективна памет. Инсталации, дигитални изображения, видео метафори и артефакти от градския живот, дело на художници от България, Германия, Китай, Португалия,Франция и Италия събират парчета от пъзела на градската култура днес. Поканените автори имат трайни интереси в областта на съвременните социални взаимоотношения. Разглеждат се проблемите на алиенацията и комуникацията, на потребителското мислене, на сексуалността,на връзката на градския човек с природата. Неотменна част от проекта са елементите на субкултурата и ъндърграунда, представени чрез симулативна градска разходка по следите на най-известните обекти на стрийт арт във Варна, аналогия на туристическите културни обиколки.
