"Talking doors " project with Prix Ars Electronica 2010



Проектът на литовския куратор и мултидисциплинарен художник Юлийонас Урбонас "Говорещи врати", представен във Вилнюс, в официалната програма Вилнюс -Европейска столица на културата 2009, бе номиниран и награден с Prix Ars Electronica 2010 в категорията "Интерактивни изкуства", Линц, Австрия. Проектът "Динделе Донделе" - звукова инсталация на италианските художници Паоло Вивиан и Лучиано Олзер, с куратор Дора Дончева бе част от общия проект в раздела "Звучащи врати".

The Talking Doors project by lithuanian cutaror and artist Julijonas Urbonas has been selected and win the Award of Distinction in the Interactive Art category of Prix Ars Electronica 2010, Linz, Austria. Part of the project body is "THE SOUNDING DOORS" project, realised in Lithuanian Academy of Music in Vilnius last year. The sound installation "Dindele Dondele", made by Paolo Vivian /Italy/ with collaboration with Luciano Olzer /Italy/ with curator Dora Doncheva- Bulart was part of this interactive project.
"Talking doors " project was in official program of Vilnius - Europian culture capital 2009.

for Prix Ars Electronica - The competition is organized by the Ars Electronica Linz GmbH and ORF’s Upper Austria Regional Studio in collaboration with the OK Center for Contemporary Art and the Brucknerhaus Linz, and the prizes are awarded during the Ars Electronica Festival each year. The Prix Ars Electronica is one of the most important awards for creativity and pioneering spirit in the field of digital media. The event calls for entries in seven categories, including a youth competition. And since internationally renowned artists from over 70 countries also participate in the Prix Ars Electronica, it has established itself as a barometer for trends in contemporary media art.
