Contempo.lab2 is an education platform for art management for young artists and culture activists. It is a part of contempo weekend - the international festival for contemporary art for artists under 35.

Organized Raya Georgieva Foundation with partnership of "Art" department of Regional Library "P . Slaveikov" in Varna, The National School of Arts "D. Hristov", The Association for Culture Management "Sea Blue", "Bulart" gallery, "Harmony" gallery , gallery "Graffit", Art Office / Sofia /, Festival "Videoholica", "Artin Vision", international platform "Plotki" , music coffee "Look", Yo Ho Hostel.

Curator of contempo 2011 is Dora Doncheva.

In the program of contempo.lab2 are lectures, discussions, artistic meetings and presentations focused to hidden tools for successful artistic carriers. The lectors are artists, graphic designers, media and PR experts, gallerists and experts in the field of sponsorship and collecting. The topics of contempo.lab2 are about ABC of artistic career, how to work with media and collectors, gallery practice and collecting, how advertisement supports of big names, about "passowrds" for sponsorship, work for festivals and projects. Special attention will be given to gallery work and collecting.the frame of this panel is open to art professionals, gallery owners, curators,collectors and artists. Special invited guest is Hans Knoll /Vienna/ - owner of Knoll galleries in Vienna and Budapest, curator and collector, expert in contemporary arts from Former Comunist countries. The other speakers are : Albena Baeva-media artist, Dimitar Traychev - graphic designer, Dora Doncheva- curator and culture activist, Еlitza Mateeva - performer, Nina Lokmadzhieva - journalist and PR expert, Rene Beekman / BG, NE/ - artist, curator and culture activist.

The collateral events are : projection of "Small-Bigger", a film by Yasen Grigirov, "Trash&Stars" - solo project by Yasen Zgurovski, "BlackShorts" - screening of documentary movies from Georgia, multimedia performance "The DNA of words" by Albena Baeva and Ivanka Mogilska, the curatorial project "Portraits and Self-Portraits" by Svilen Stefanov and with participation of some of the pioners of conceptual arts in Bulgaria, collector`s exhibition , DJ sets by Peterson &Soulmate.
