„Стремежът на съвременния художник към видимост само частично зависи от придобитите през годините технически умения. Новите генерации творци търсят път към разграничаване от боравенето с  класически технологии и материали и  създават предпоставки за  алтернативни намеси  в публичните и обществени пространства , в социалния и политически живот. Отговорите на въпросите какво е съвременното изкуство, как изглежда и къде да го открием често озадачават обществото. Изложбата  "Невидимо изкуство" избягва преднамерената скандалност и може да се разглежда като спокойно философско самовглъбяване на автора. Все пак един по задълбочен прочит би потърсил закодираните за интелектуалния елит послания. Скритите процеси в културната общност, спорният прочит на историческата  фактология, несъгласията и откритите професионални конфронтации, критиката към толеранса на артистичните угодничества и раждането на локални  културни монополи са малка част от въпросите , които съществуват отвъд границата на видимото и за всичко това си струва да се поразсъждава."

за автора 

Роберт Баръмов  (1966, Варна) е възпитаник на Художествената гимназия в София. През 1994 завършва специалност „ графика”  в Националната художествена академия, в класа на проф. Стоян Стоянов - Течи. Работи в областта на графиката,живописта и инсталацията. Представял е свои проекти,акции и пърформанси на световни форуми за съвременно изкуство в Германия, Италия, Белгия и България. Носител е на над 20 престижни международни  награди за графика и съвременно изкуство, между които почетни медали от Оренсе, Испания и Малброк, Полша , награда за литография в Сент Никлас, Белгия, награда на журито на биеналето на графиката в Оренсе, Испания , отличие и почетен медал на колекционерите в Малброк, Полша , трета награда и почетен медал на биеналето “Ex Libris” в Гливице, Полша , първа награда и почетен плакет на VI биенале графика малък формат в Полша , награда на парижката фондация “Art Dialogue” ,награда на фондация “Отворено общество”  и други. Негови творби са притежание на редица световни музейни графични колекции. Реализирал е множество самостоятелни изложби в България и чужбина, като по-важните сред тях са в галерия “E/A”, Антверпен, Белгия, в Kulturhaus, Хановер, Германия, в  Музея на модерното изкуство, Боденбург, Германия, както и в галерия “Витоша”, София, в новия музей на София,в Пловдив в Есенните изложби, във Варна в галериите “Буларт” и “Навиларт” и др.  

Живее и работи в София.

" The aim of the contemporary artist at visibility depends only partially on acquired over the years technical skills. New generations of artists look for way to distinguish from classical dealing with technologies and materials and create prerequisites for alternative interventions in public and urban spaces in social and political life. Answers to the questions what contemporary art is how it looks like and where to find him , often puzzle the society. The exhibition "Invisible Art" avoids intentional scandalous and can be seen as a peaceful philosophical introspection of the author. However, a profound interpretation should look for encoded messages for the intellectual elite. Hidden processes in the cultural community, controversial interpretation of the historical facts, disagreements and open professional confrontations critique of tolerance artistic servility and the development of local cultural monopolies are a small part of the issues that exist beyond the border of the visible are worth considering."

more about the artist

Robert Baramov (1966, Varna) lives and works in Sofia. He  has graduated from the Art School in Sofia (1991) and in 1994 he graduated in Graphics at the National Art Academy , Sofia in the class of prof. Stoyan Stoyanov - Techi.

He works in printmaking, painting, video and installation. He has presented their projects, actions and performances of world forums for contemporary art in Germany, China, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Bulgaria ecc. He has won over 20 prestigious international awards for graphics and contemporary art.  He presented Bulgaria in the space for contemporary art of Deutscher Ring in Long Night of the Museums-Hamburg with the project " who's Robart” (2008). Over the years he has exhibited  artworks in numerous galleries, representative spaces and museums in Bulgaria and abroad-the National Museum of Natural History, Sofia, National Museum in Beijing, the City Museum in Varna, the Museum in Frederikshaven, Mogosoaia Museum, Castle Museum in Malbork, etc. In 2013 he made a personal action of the Venice Biennale -project "Declaration of War," which documented the Bulgarian State Administration's reluctance to support bulgarian artists for formal participation in such significant event.The action is as a basement for his future project- a space intervention during 56-th edition of venice Biennial.
