Bulart gallery is based in Varna, Bulgaria. Since 1996 it presents local and international artists with attention into the field of urban culture, collective memory, questions of identity, mass media manipulation, globalization and communications between new aesthetic and social behavior.The artistic language is free and Bulart has open frame for co-curatorial projects and collaborations.
Bulart gallery has taken participation in international art projects, festivals and fairs- local and in abroad. Bulart gallery is editor of Art News Bulletin / since 2002/. Bulart gallery is co-partner of “contempo”- festival for international contemporary art for artists under 35. Bulart gallery is in network with VisualContainer /IT/, ES gallery /IT/, Berlinerpool /DE/,Varna Free University /BG/,Sea Blu Association /BG/, Amorfa group /BG/, ArtinVision Co /BG/, Stalker design studio /BG/ ecc. Bulart gallery has a nomadic platform called Bulart Project Room (BPR) for conceptual presentations and space interactions.It is temporary based in Brussels /BE/ since 2010.
The director of the Bulart gallery is Dora Doncheva - Bulart.
